Sabuk Lodge

Sabuk is an exclusive getaway on the edge of the Laikipia Plateau. Overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River, this comfortable lodge has been built using natural, local materials such as thatch, stone and cedar wood. Sabuk accommodates up to twelve people comfortably with five ensuite rooms.

Each room is unique. One room has a loft and a blue bath, while the room next door has an outside bath and shower, with an armchair to sit in while your bath fills! The honeymoon suite has its own fireplace, making it the perfect place for a quiet dinner away from it all!

There are two options available at Sabuk. The first option is to be hosted, wined and dined by a guide. The second option is to bring your own food and drink and have exclusive use of Sabuk. Of course, the Ndorobo staff will tend to your cooking and cleaning needs if you choose this option.

Approximately 5-6 hours by vehicle from Nairobi, Sabuk is only an hour's flight from Nairobi to the Muridjo airstrip, and a further half hour drive from the airstrip.
